EveryMatrix hit by licence suspension in UK
Published 9th September 2019
The Commission, which will now carry out a review into the supplier, said that the decision was based on compliance activity at EveryMatrix, including an examination of its customer interaction framework.
The regulator cited section 118(2) of the Gambling Act 2005, which permits it to suspend a licence to carry out a review into a business if it suspects certain conditions apply.
EveryMatrix will be allowed to settle ante-post bets placed before the suspension and facilitate customers’ accessing their accounts to withdraw funds.
EveryMatrix will not accept any further gambling activity from players in Great Britain on its Bookee.co.uk, Pwrbet.com, Fantasino.com, Playfrank.com, Sportingindex.com, Westcasino.com, Dragonaraonline.com, Jetbull.com, Mrwin.com and Casinomulti.com websites until further notice.
However, licence suspension does not apply to EveryMatrix’s activities related to manufacturing, supplying, installing or adapting gambling software and the supplier will be able to carry on with these as normal.
“During this period EveryMatrix will continue to deliver a fair and safe experience to its players,” the supplier said in a statement. “All players will be able to access their accounts and withdraw any funds held in it at any time.
“Ante-post bets will be honoured, so if you have placed bets on future events these will be paid out as usual if they become winning bets.”
