Head of Portfolio Management We are looking for a Head of Portfolio Management to build the Portfolio Management function from scratch and turn it into a continuous holding-wide mechanism: from evaluating each business unit and driving gate decisions to managing service package transitions - all based on a clear operational framework and reliable data. Remote Full-time | Business Development Apply job description WHAT YOU’LL DO: Business Unit Assessment & Portfolio Reviews: Continuously assess each Business Unit across three key areas: financial performance, operational maturity, and organizational effectiveness. Adjust evaluation focus depending on the BU growth stage and business priorities. Lead quarterly portfolio reviews and conduct ad-hoc assessments during major business changes or risks. Business Unit Lifecycle Management: Define and manage transition processes between different Business Unit growth stages. Establish clear criteria, performance benchmarks, and risk indicators for each transition stage. Prepare materials and insights for quarterly decision-making reviews with the CEO and Managing Partners. Cross-Functional Service Coordination: Coordinate with functional leaders (People, Finance, Legal, IT, Data) during Business Unit stage transitions. Portfolio Dashboard & Data Management: Own and maintain the Portfolio Dashboard as the main source of portfolio data and business health insights. Ensure accurate and up-to-date reporting across portfolio performance, transitions, and operational indicators. Support for Investment & Capital Allocation Decisions: Prepare structured portfolio assessments to support investment and capital allocation discussions. Identify early warning signals and negative performance trends before they become critical business issues. Business Unit Recovery & Exit Processes: Coordinate downgrade processes for underperforming Business Units. Support Business Unit closure processes when recovery is no longer viable. Capture and document key learnings and best practices across the portfolio.
