Checkd Dev has rolled out the UK market’s first fully automated pre-canned stats-powered bet builders with William Hill.
The launch follows an initial partnership signed in March 2025 between the iGaming technology brand and the operator, aimed at enhancing pre-match football and horse racing betting through automation. The upgraded bet builders now deliver stats-backed, one-tap selections at both global and fixture level across all football fixtures.
Andrew Grimshaw, commercial director at Checkd Dev, said his team is “proud” to take its automation further, particularly “as the new football season really gets going”. He highlighted the solution’s improved efficiency “for trading and the ability to create global and fixture-level bets at true scale”, supported by a faster front end and “more engaging journey for recreational customers”.
Working closely with William Hill, the automated trending bets solution has evolved into a specific Bet Builder proposition using proprietary pricing from the operator’s trading team to create football bets for its recreational UK customer base.
The tool generates ready-made bets drawing on contextual statistics to ensure relevance, with each wager added to a slip in a single click. While pre-canned bets are not new, the automated model offers time-saving and cost-effective bet generation for bookmakers alongside attractive opportunities for players.
Commenting on the launch, Tom Hargreaves, head of commercial - football at William Hill, said it demonstrates the brand’s “commitment to putting the right products” in front of customers and making their “betting journeys easier and more fun”.
As part of the collaboration, William Hill customers gain access to unique bets designed for its recreational base, strengthening brand differentiation while protecting margin. Once the operator team sets parameters, the automated back end engine continuously generates and refreshes curated Bet Builder options at scale. This removes the need for repetitive manual build and settlement hours, freeing William Hill’s traders to focus more on price strategy and risk management.
“This is yet another new product that William Hill has launched in a matter of months,” Hargreaves added. “Together, William Hill and Checkd Dev are industrialising personalised Bet Builder content, combining operator-owned pricing with stats-led automation to improve customer experience and trading efficiency in one move.”
Checkd Dev also recently signed a three-year deal with OpenBet to deliver its trending bet solutions.
