The affiliate’s management team has acquired a majority stake in Traffic Lab, with one-third of employees becoming company owners.

Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Traffic Lab CEO Peter Gunni said “a long-term shared vision has finally come true”, as the management buyout was successfully executed with full backing from the C-suite, including chief SEO officer Claus Christensen, CTO Oisín Mac Giolla Chuda and CFO David Casado Vazquez.

Founded by Sebastian Agerskov and Tuomas Jauhiainen in 2014, the company was shortlisted for the iGBA Awards’ Best Casino Affiliate category in 2023 and was highly recommended in the same category in 2025. After Agerskov stepped down as CEO in 2024, former CCO Gunni took over the role, leading initiatives such as the acquisition of CasinoWings from Swedish group Tahoba.

“I’ve dreamed for a long time of building a company where ownership is shared with the people working in it, and now it has become a reality,” Gunni wrote. “Now we have the rare opportunity to bring more owners into the company – people who have been loyal Labbers for years. As of today, one third of Traffic Lab’s workforce are also owners.”

Speaking to iGBA, Gunni said the deal was made “in a time when affiliates are under severe pressure and in rough seas” and highlighted the company’s decision “to take charge and sail straight into the storm together”.

“For me, this means sharing the highs and lows collectively as a Lab, where we shouldn’t be afraid of failed experiments; it is mandatory to learn. I dream of inspiring people to achieve the unimaginable, and I think this is a step in the right direction,” he added.
