Bet365’s former head of international development, Jon Moss, has been proposed to join the Raketech board.

Moss, who spent a total of 16 years working for the Stoke-headquartered giant, the last 10.5 in-house leading its entry into new markets, has been consulting to the industry since September 2022.

The Raketech nomination committee said it was “confident” his igaming expertise and international experience would help the Stockholm-listed affiliate execute its growth initiatives.

Raketech recently announced a review of its markets after a softer performance in Sweden had exposed issues in its traditional affiliation business.

Co-founder Johan Svensson has been acting Raketech CEO since the surprise departure of Oskar Mühlbach in January due to disagreements with the board over the future strategic direction of the business.

In February, Raketech posted organic growth of 45% to €22.8m in Q4 to beat its revenue forecast for 2023, with the Nasdaq First North Premier-listed business achieving a record €77.7m total.

All existing directors and chair Ulrik Bengtsson have been proposed for re-election, Raketech also announced.
