The shortlist for the iGB Affiliate Awards 2024 has been revealed ahead of the ceremony on 8 February at the Troxy in East London.
Previously, Clarion Gaming confirmed it had received a record number of submissions for the iGB Affiliate Awards 2024.
A total of 338 entries across 20 categories have been received, 19 of which will be voted on by judges with Game of the Year going to a public vote.
Deciding the shortlist and tasked with whittling down each category to find a winner is a 21-strong external judging panel.
Promising another “inspiring awards evening”, Naomi Barton, portfolio director for the iGB Affiliate Awards 2024, reflected on the last awards to be hosted in London before the iGB Affiliate event moves to Barcelona in 2025.
“It’s totally fitting that the last iGB Affiliate Awards to be held in London has attracted a record 338 submissions from across the international community,” Barton said.
“The Awards are an integral part of the iGB Affiliate experience and celebrate everything that’s so unique and compelling about the igaming affiliate sector, recognising the industry’s outstanding individuals, brands, games, networks, tech vendors and marketing campaigns.”
One of the judges, Claire Wellard, CEO of iGamingXL, confirmed her delight at being part of the process.
“I love seeing the developments from all of these companies in innovation and growth,” the head of the affiliate management consultancy business said.
“The step change in the quality of the submissions across all the categories with which I was involved as a judge this year reinforces the view of this sector as one that is in rude health and poised to go from strength to strength in 2024.”
Fellow judge, Vicki Reed, founder of Better Change, was encouraged to read about some impressive and unique innovations by affiliates in safer gambling.
“Such initiatives are set to become more integral to igaming’s ongoing repositioning of itself as a more sustainable sector with responsible play at the heart of its operations and strategy,” she said.
