A joint PR and SEO strategy can help your website strike gold. Having a strong online brand reputation will only ever grow your link acquisition without introducing any black-hat tactics.

However, many affiliates can ignore PR as a “nice to have” rather than a “need to have” which instantly rules out some effective wins for your SEO goals and the opportunity to grow your business from a website to a brand.

  • Day 3
    Conference Room 1

It's been talked about before; ranking on brand phrases, but today this strategy makes more sense than ever. Operators are winning more rankings on generic phrases, squeezing out affiliates and forcing you to rethink your rankings game plan.

Why are operators getting stronger and stronger rankings? It's because links are losing their power and the vacuum is being filled with engagement signals. If the new battleground is engagement, how can affiliates be really engaging and make loads of money?

Nick Garner, Founder & CEO Oshi Online Casino will demonstrate how affiliates can rank and convert on brand phrases and why for Oshi Online Casino, to do so is win-win for both the operator and affiliate.

    • Thinking 'engagement first'
    • Targeting operators who are easy to rank on
    • How and why ranking on brand is a fair deal for everyone

    Conference Room 2

Customer acquisition remains the main strategic priority for gaming affiliates. Personalisation historically has struggled to deliver on its promise. So how do you achieve true one-to-one communications with consumers regardless of their chosen device, browser or channel?

Firstly, you need to identify the visitor as an individual, before understanding their online digital behaviour to determine how best to achieve your conversion goals.
Secondly, optimising your site to react in real time to visitor behaviour will result in a higher affiliate click rate via a drastically improved UX. Doing so creates a truly personalised experience from the affiliate site to the brand, unlocking a win-win opportunity for affiliates and advertisers in the form of an increased conversion rate.

Join Kris Mobayeni, Director of Conversion Strategy at Bounce X as he uses real-life case studies to explain how Behavioural Marketing can accelerate customer acquisition and drive incremental revenues.

    • Achieving one-to-one communications with users
    • Understanding individuals online behaviour
    • Optimise your site to respond in real time to increase click rate and UX

Affiliates

Also called publishers or webmasters, an affiliate is a person that refers traffic (in this case players) to an operator website, for example pokerlistings.com would refer a player to 888.com. The affiliate is then paid a revenue share or CPA (cost per acquisition) for each of the players they send.

Introducing brokers

An introducing broker (IB) is a person or institution who has all the functions of a broker, except to accept money or any type of investment. The introducing broker (IB) usually refers its clients to a dealer and, in return, receives a compensation, such as commissions.

Registering as an affiliate or introducing broker

If you are not sure if you qualify as an affiliate or IB, please email us directly at Emily@iGamingBusiness.comwith details of your business. We will then be able to let you know if you are liable for free entry. If you register as an affiliate or IB under false pretense, we reserve the right to refuse you entry on the day.

If we are made aware of anyone that has entered the event as an affiliate or IB and is in fact not, they will be asked to leave the venue. They will then be given the opportunity to register again and pay for their delegate place, allowing them to return to the show. If they choose not to do this, they will be refused entry to the remainder of the event and associated parties.

We ask for your help in letting us know immediately if you believe someone has registered as an affiliate or IB who should not have. Please approach any member of the events team who will deal with this in the strictest confidence.

Please remember that we can only continue to run these events so that operators and vendors can meet the best quality affiliates and IBs if those that should pay for entrance do.

Once your registration has been finalised, you will receive an email with your bar-coded ticket for the event. It is imperative that you bring this along to registration in order to collect your name badge. With the number of delegates increasing at every event, it is the fastest way to gain entry.

Tickets can either be collected on the first day at pre-registration between 13:00 - 19:00 at the official LAC hotel or you can pick them up from the exhibition venue from 09:30 on the first day of the conference or from 10:00 if arriving on the second day of the conference.

Affiliates and introducing brokers: Email confirmation will be sent to your inbox once you've registered however please allow 5 working days for us to validate your affiliate/introducing broker status. Your barcoded e-ticket will then be sent to once we have validated your status. We will contact you if your registration has been unsuccessful, as your affiliate or introducing broker status will need to be validated in order to gain entry to the conference. This is standard procedure to ensure that we can continue to provide high quality events completely FREE of charge for all affiliates and introducing brokers.

All other tickets: All payment correspondence will be sent to the individual booking contact of each registration or the main contact of a group registration. Confirmation including the barcoded e-ticket will be sent to each individual registered delegate once full payment has been received.

If you did not receive or have lost your e-ticket, please contact Emily@iGamingBusiness.com to be issued a replacement.

For the fastest way to gain entry to the event or to avoid elongated administration processes, it is advised that you bring your e-ticket with you when registering. The e-ticket holds all your details that the LAC staff need to hand you your pass, so you can enter the exhibition, conference and networking parties.

If you have any queries about your registration, please contact Emily@iGamingBusiness.com.

Simple - click here and tell us exactly where you went wrong with your registration. We will email you back within 24 hours and confirm this has been changed for you.

If you need details changed a few days prior to the event and we are not in the office, don't worry! You can change your details on the day you register, but be aware that this may lead to some delays.
