Junior Manual QA job description WHAT YOU’LL DO: Testing the functionality of the web platform (UI, API, integration, and regression testing). Writing and updating test cases and test plans (TestRail). Performing manual functional and regression testing. Working with the bug-tracking system (Jira): tasks, defects, reports. Verifying API requests using Postman. Maintaining test environments. Collaborating with developers, analysts, and product managers. Preparing reports on testing results and participating in sprint planning.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
6+ months of experience as a Junior QA Specialist or in related Intern/Trainee QA roles.
Understanding of fundamental testing theory (types, levels, test design principles, defect lifecycle, SDLC/STLC).
Understanding of client-server architecture.
Ability to read technical specifications.
Manual testing (functional/regression/smoke).
Writing and executing test cases/test plans.
Experience with Jira, TestRail.
Basic knowledge of SQL.
Experience with Postman for API testing.
Understanding of Agile (Scrum) principles.
Basic experience with Git.
Ability to work with DevTools and general knowledge of HTML/CSS.
