Jackpot.com owner and the operator of brands including freedailyspins.com have both informed affiliate partners of their exit from the market ahead of the April tax hike, iGBA can reveal.

According to an official letter issued to affiliates on 4 March 2026 and shared by an anonymous source, Lottomatrix has taken “a strategic business decision” to cease all real-money gaming operations under licences issued by the GB Gambling Commission, as well as the relevant Irish regulator and the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).

Jackpot.com’s UK portal now displays a Midnite Casino ad and prompts players to withdraw their balance before 25 April 2026. Nevertheless, the business continues to provide lottery services to US players under active courier licences issued by the authorities of New York, New Jersey and Arkansas.

In the written statement, Lottomatrix asked affiliates to “immediately” cease all marketing activities related to the company’s offerings within 15 days of the notice, with any unpaid commissions due to be paid “in accordance with the affiliate agreement, subject to applicable verification, reconciliation and fraud prevention procedures”. However, two long-term partners of Jackpot.com told iGBA the operator has not paid most commissions since September 2025, although another affiliate said they have not experienced any payment issues with the company.

Small Screen Casinos, the operator behind bingotg.com, freedailyspins.com, red7slots.com, thephonecasino.com and vegasmoose.com, had its bingo licence surrendered by the Gambling Commission on 28 January 2026 and informed affiliates of the closure in mid-February.

While red7slots.com and bingotg.com are currently inaccessible, thephonecasino.com and vegasmoose.com have been transferred to a new licence under Jumpman Gaming. Freedailyspins.com is now owned by Pensare Ltd, providing free-to-play games and casino reviews. Sources disclose that although their player base did not transfer, Small Screen Casinos is working with affiliates to agree on a percentage-based settlement figure.

This forms part of a broader trend, as operators anticipate profitability pressures from the remote gaming tax rising to 40% on 1 April. As reported by iGBA recently, Aristocrat Interactive, the owner of Aspire Global, has shuttered its white-label UK casinos and is preparing to cease these offerings for global customers by 30 June 2026. UK affiliates have described the tax hike as “a direct hit” to the sector and expect earnings to decline as operators recalibrate acquisition strategies.

iGBA has contacted both Lottomatrix and Small Screen Casinos for comment.
