Checkd Media has announced that Rob Cable is joining its paid media team as its pay-per-click manager.
The appointment is a new role for the affiliate in its content arm as Checkd says it looks to scale its internal and external PPC offering and “optimising the effectiveness of online advertising campaigns”.
In his role, Cable will lead the expansion of Checkd Media’s PPC activity in the UK and US. He will be responsible for targeting both Google and Microsoft ads, focusing on market activity and using tools to find competitive commercial opportunities.
Cable previously held the position of senior search executive at MediaCom where he worked on accounts tasked with volume and efficiency responsibilities.
“I’m thrilled to be able to add some of my experience to a well-established team and get started injecting a fresh perspective to Checkd Media’s current PPC approach,” said Cable.
He went on to add that the new role will enable him to utilise his experience in the sector as Checkd “develop effective campaigns and improve PPC both internally and externally going forward.”
Alex Beecham, Checkd Group MD said that the company is delighted to welcome Cable into his new role.
“He joins at an important time for our business both at home and overseas and the great work he has done previously in his career indicates that he will be a highly valued asset in strengthening our external PPC offering.”
