We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Lead to drive technical excellence across our web projects. In this role, you will focus on guiding the technical aspects of the team, ensuring high-quality output, and leading innovation in development practices.
Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership: Guide developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices in software development.
Project Oversight: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of web projects, ensuring technical quality and timely delivery.
Technical Innovation: Research and implement cutting-edge technologies to enhance our tech stack and development workflows.
Architectural Design: Design scalable, secure, and efficient web solutions that meet project requirements.
Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, and QA to align technical solutions with business goals.
Support & Maintenance: Troubleshoot and optimise application performance and reliability.
Requirements:
Strong technical background in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
Proven experience in leading technical projects and mentoring developers.
Ability to solve complex problems and articulate technical concepts to stakeholders.
Experience with RESTful APIs, version control (Git), and modern development workflows.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and containerisation (e.g., Docker).
Preferred Qualifications:
Contributions to open-source projects or a strong online presence in the developer community.
Knowledge of additional PHP frameworks, advanced front-end frameworks, or orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
