Sound Designer - job description WHAT YOU’LL DO: Creating and producing original sound design for anime series episodes (SFX, Foley, background audio). Editing, syncing, mixing, and mastering audio tracks for final delivery.
Working with character dialogue in close alignment with animation and scene emotion. Collaborating with directors and the animation team to deliver a unified creative vision. Maintaining consistent sound quality and a cohesive sound style across episodes. Managing and expanding the project’s sound library and audio resources. Participating in creative discussions and reviews. Meeting production deadlines across all stages of development.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Experience working with DAW software (Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Ableton, Reaper, or similar).
Sound design, audio editing, work with dialogue and ADR, and knowledge of audio formats and codecs.
Experience with mixing and mastering, and a solid understanding of audio post-production workflows.
Ability to create and edit sound effects.
Experience with field recording and Foley (a plus).
Upper-Intermediate English level or higher.
A portfolio showcasing sound design work.
