SEO Team Lead (Performance Marketing) job description WHAT YOU’LL DO Organize the work of a team of SEO specialists: assign and monitor tasks, track workload, and ensure the necessary resources are available. Handle human resource management of the SEO team: evaluate and grade specialists, track performance. Identify a person's strengths and weaknesses, form PDPs, and provide direct training. Take responsibility for collecting and monitoring team metrics (KPIs). Plan and oversee the SEO budget. Decompose the goals set by the Head of Direction into an action plan for the team to ensure organic growth of projects. Work alongside SEO specialists on each project to prepare and coordinate the implementation of SEO strategies. Conduct competitor analysis to form SEO strategies and make effective decisions. Develop crisis action plans (sudden algorithm updates, significant traffic drops, etc.). Collaborate with the Product Manager to discover new ways of attracting traffic and propose methods for improving the CTR of existing traffic. Form hypotheses and monitor testing, collect and analyze data and results, identify trends, derive insights, and implement best practices. Recruit and manage freelance resources for the team when necessary. Launch new projects.
