SEO Outreach Specialist - The SEO Outreach Specialist drives Catena Media’s outreach SEO growth through high-quality, data-driven link-building strategies that align with Google’s latest link quality and E-E-A-T guidelines. The goal is to build and maintain authoritative and natural profiles that enhance visibility, and long-term ranking stability — especially within competitive verticals such as casino and betting.
This role combines leadership, strategy, and innovation, ensuring rapid adaptation to search algorithm updates, leverages AI for efficiency, and upholds ethical SEO standards.
The SEO Outreach Specialist will collaborate with the SEO Strategists as well as other marketing and business stakeholders to create and implement effective outreach campaigns. Such campaigns have the purpose to grant strategic visibility to the brands, increasing authority, and improve their ability to generate revenue.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
Develop and implement scalable outreach strategies emphasizing editorial placements, digital PR, and brand-led link acquisition.
Monitor and react to algorithm updates affecting link signals.
Share findings and initiate synergies with the broader SEO team and other relevant stakeholders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, publishers, and influencers to grow Catena’s digital footprint.
Collaborate with the Content, Product, and Social Media teams to develop linkable content assets (studies, news, reports, infographics, etc.).
Manage monthly outreach budgets efficiently, ensuring optimal ROI.
Oversee external agencies and freelancers to ensure compliance with Catena’s standards and Google’s quality guidelines.
Use advanced link analysis tools (Ahrefs, BuzzStream, HARO and possibly others) to identify opportunities and track progress.
Report regularly on progress, link velocity, domain authority growth, and the overall impact on organic performance.
TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:
Minimum 3 years of SEO experience, ideally within link acquisition, digital PR, or outreach management.
Proven success in leading link-building campaigns that resulted in measurable ranking improvements.
Strong understanding of Google’s link-related algorithms, including the importance of natural link signals and E-E-A-T.
Skilled in backlink analysis and monitoring tools such as Ahrefs, Majestic, SEMrush, and BuzzStream.
Advanced understanding of Google Analytics 4, Excel/Sheets, and dashboard reporting.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Strong project and budget management capabilities.
Up to date with AI and automation tools for link prospecting and outreach tracking.
Previous experience in leading outreach and PR projects in the North American gambling and sports betting sectors is highly desirable.
Existing first-hand relationships with journalists, publishers, and influencers in North American news, Gambling, and Sports sectors IS highly desirable.
