Senior QA Engineer job description WHAT YOU’LL DO: Play a key role in defining and optimizing development and testing processes to continuously improve product quality. Ensure end-to-end quality throughout the product lifecycle, from initial product specification to deployment and monitoring. Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test cases to validate product functionality and performance. Define and maintain detailed regression tests to ensure the stability of the product with each release. Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product, Design, and Customer-Facing teams to ensure product quality, usability, and a seamless user experience.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
About 4+ years of experience as a manual QA tester in an agile work environment.
Experience in both backend and frontend testing, including web and mobile platforms.
Experience with Payments testing (in-app, web).
Knowledge of End-to-End testing, API, and backend testing methodologies.
Experience with API testing (Postman / Swagger).
Knowledge of DevTools (Console, Network + WebSockets, Application, Elements, Toggle device).
Ability to use AI tools (LLMs) in your work.
Experience with BrowserStack (a plus).
Detail-Oriented – Notices even minor inconsistencies or defects in requirements, UI, and functionality.
Analytical Thinking – Able to break down complex systems into testable components and identify root causes.
Curiosity & Proactivity – Constantly asks “What if…?” and explores scenarios beyond the obvious.
Strong Communication Skills – Clearly articulates findings, reproduces issues, and collaborates effectively with developers, designers, and product managers.
Adaptability – Adjusts quickly to shifting priorities, changing requirements, and new technologies.
