Senior Manual Backend Qa Engineer - Job description WHAT YOU’LL DO: Perform manual testing of backend systems, including APIs, databases, and business logic. Run smoke, sanity, and regression testing to ensure product stability at every release.
Create and maintain clear and useful test documentation that actually supports the team. Test internal company products, such as admin panels or CRM systems and internal tools. Conduct thorough bug investigation, identifying root causes rather than just surface issues. Produce high-quality bug reports.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
3+ years of experience in backend manual testing.
Strong hands-on experience with API testing (Postman, Swagger).
Experience with Proxy Debugging Tools such as Charles, Fiddler, Postman, or similar.
Confident work with databases: MongoDB Compass (querying, editing, deleting data) and PostgreSQL.
Understanding and practical experience with A/B testing.
Experience working with analytics tools: Grafana/ClickHouse/DataGrip/Amplitude/AppsFlyer.
Knowledge of installation testing, including organic installs and non-organic installs.
Experience testing mobile applications (iOS / Android).
