Senior Legal Counsel Job description Better Collective is seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel based in Argentina to support our growing legal needs across North and South America. The ideal candidate will bring strong legal expertise combined with a commercial mindset, and ideally experience working in or with the United States—whether through education, practice, or prior in-house roles. Knowledge of digital media, intellectual property, and talent-led content industries will be a strong advantage.

ABOUT THE ROLE
 
As Senior Legal Counsel in Better Collective, you will be part of a talented and ambitious team. Reporting to the Head of Legal & Compliance - LATAM, you will provide strategic legal guidance across a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, working closely with teams in Latin America, the US and beyond. You will support business operations across the Americas, balancing commercial objectives with legal and regulatory requirements. You’ll also advise on IP rights management, content licensing, digital distribution, advertising, data protection, and employment law matters.
 
 
 
This role offers the opportunity to shape legal processes in a dynamic, international environment while working on cross-border matters with diverse stakeholders.Occasionally, international and domestic travel will be required. The location for this position is in the city of Buenos Aires.
 
 
 
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
 
● Provide legal support across the Americas, including Argentina, the US, and other jurisdictions.
 
● Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial, licensing, IP, and talent agreements.
 
● Advise on digital media, IP, advertising, Igaming and talent/content-related legal issues.
 
● Support corporate governance, compliance, and risk management efforts across regions.
 
● Partner with US-based teams and external counsel on cross-border matters.
 
● Adapt and localize global contract templates for regional use.
 
● Provide pragmatic, solution-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders.
 
● Manage relationships with external counsel in multiple jurisdictions.
 
● Contribute to internal training, policies, and best practices for legal and compliance.
 
● Support the integration process of companies recently acquired by BC
 
Job requirements
WHO YOU ARE:
 
● Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in Argentina; additional US qualification or experience strongly preferred.
 
● 10+ years post-qualification experience, including significant in-house experience; prior work with US companies or in US law is highly valued.
 
● Expertise in commercial contracts, corporate law, intellectual property, media/entertainment law, and employment law.
 
● Strong knowledge of digital media, content creation, and talent-related agreements is a plus.
 
● Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken); Portuguese is an asset.
 
● Exceptional communication skills, able to explain complex legal concepts clearly.
 
● Commercially minded with excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
 
● Confident managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, international environment.
