Are you ready to take the next step in your career? As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity and performance of our data platform. This role emphasizes engineering, building, monitoring, and improving the systems that power our real-time data feeds and APIs. At the same time, you will act as a technical bridge to clients, helping them integrate smoothly and ensuring their needs are represented internally. The role is suited to someone who brings strong engineering fundamentals, is confident in debugging complex systems, and enjoys the challenge of working in real time with mission-critical data. You will collaborate with product and sales teams to ensure our platform remains the most reliable in the market.
Responsibilities:
Data Engineering: Build, maintain, and improve systems that process and deliver real-time sports betting and sport stats data.
Monitoring & Performances: Proactively monitor live feeds to ensure accuracy, consistency, and minimal latency.
SLA: Actively contribute to the SLA of our services and work in automations and systems to monitor and improve our SLA.
Internal Collaboration: Work in a distributed high skilled team processing various types of sports data.
Tooling and Automation: Contribute to internal tooling and automation that reduce manual support and improve system reliability.
Requirements:
5+ years of engineering experience, with a focus on data pipelines or real-time systems.
Strong skills in Python with a proven ability to debug and optimize.
Background in sports betting data highly preferred; candidates with adjacent experience in high-volume transactional data will be considered.
Self-starter who thrives in dynamic, high-growth environments.
Show ability to own and grow entire systems.
Experience with event systems or web scraping is a big plus
