Outreach Specialist (Junior) - job description WHAT YOU’LL DO: Searching for relevant donor websites for guest post placements based on niche, quality, and project SEO goals. -
Evaluating donor sites using key SEO metrics (relevance, DR/DA, traffic, spam indicators, link quality).
Managing outreach communication: contacting webmasters, negotiating terms, handling correspondence, and following up.
Maintaining spreadsheets and CRM records with donor details, contacts, statuses, deadlines, and placement conditions.
Coordinating the placement process: receiving guidelines, approving topics, and monitoring publication releases.
Creating basic unique technical briefs (TBs) for copywriters (varied structures and topics, NOT templates).
Reviewing content before sending it to webmasters to ensure it meets requirements and quality standards.
Collaborating with the SEO team to align outreach tasks with content plans and ranking goals.
Monitoring published links, checking their activity, accuracy, and compliance with agreements.
Identifying new opportunities: free placements, relevant directories, Q&A platforms, partnership options.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Ability to find and evaluate relevant donor websites for guest posts within a specific niche or according to defined SEO objectives.
Ability to create basic SEO technical briefs (TBs) for articles based on SERP analysis and competitor research.
Basic understanding of keyword research, heading structure, internal linking, and on-page SEO principles.
Ability to assess content quality and verify whether it meets SEO requirements, editorial standards, and user expectations.
Basic knowledge of Google ranking factors, including E-E-A-T, relevance, authority, and content quality.
Initial experience in link outreach or strong motivation to learn and follow established outreach processes.
Understanding the impact of outreach activities on site authority, search rankings, and organic traffic growth.
Experience communicating with webmasters in English is an advantage, but not required.
