We’re looking for a Head of Cyber security and IT to join our company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading cyber security and internal IT across Game Lounge.
The chosen candidate will focus on security, risk reduction, IT operations, device and identity management, and technical governance, and work across all departments to keep our systems secure, reliable, and aligned with the needs of the business.
What you’ll be doing:
Cyber Security
Manage and drive the security agenda across the business.
Lead cyber security strategy, including roadmap and yearly investment planning.
Oversee threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management.
Run phishing training and risk reduction activities.
Manage external security providers and coordinate penetration tests and security audits.
Track risk findings and follow up with relevant teams to close them.
Own governance for user access, authentication, MFA, and endpoint hardening.
Advise on secure system design, software procurement, and security controls.
Monitor emerging threats and propose actions when needed.
Internal IT
Keep our IT environment stable, secure, and well supported.
Lead the IT team that manages end user devices, networks, office hardware, and business applications.
Oversee identity systems such as Google Workspace, SSO, and device management tools.
Maintain system availability, performance, security, and capacity.
Oversee asset lifecycle management and device onboarding and offboarding.
Drive standards for patching, configuration baselines, and endpoint protection.
Keep documentation updated for all internal systems.
Security Infrastructure
Build and maintain the tools and processes that protect the company.
Oversee monitoring, alerting, SIEM, IDS, EDR, and MDM tools.
Track patch management and endpoint compliance across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Manage access reviews, audit logs, and identity governance processes.
Keep SaaS platforms secured with correct access levels and configuration controls.
Domain and Digital Asset Management
Own security elements of our digital presence.
Oversee domain registrations, DNS records, SSL certificates, and renewal cycles.
Keep domains, subdomains, and certificates mapped, tracked, and secured.
Coordinate with SEO and Brand teams when domain decisions impact their work.
Legal, HR, and Compliance
Support compliance and governance.
Work with Legal and HR on device policies, identity governance, and audit preparation.
Keep IT and security policies updated and aligned with regulatory requirements.
Support due diligence for new vendors, partners, and acquisitions.
Strategy and Leadership
Advise the CTO and leadership team on security posture, risks, and priorities.
Build a strong IT and security function with clear scope and responsibilities.
Lead budgeting for IT and Security.
Represent the company in internal and external discussions on security.
The ideal candidate should have:
A degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT or similar.
5+ years in IT management, technical operations, or security leadership.
A strong understanding of cyber security, IT infrastructure, identity systems, and SaaS management.
Experience leading teams and managing cross functional technical work.
Knowledge of domains, DNS, SSL, and digital asset security.
Strong analytical skills and clear communication style.
A good command of the English Language
Good to Have:
CISSP, CISM, CEH, ITIL, or similar certifications.
Experience with SIEM, EDR, MDM, firewalls, cloud identity, and audit frameworks.
Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST.
Experience in iGaming or digital marketing.
Understanding of GDPR requirements.
Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure from a security perspective.
