The role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Finance Executive to join our Finance team in Denmark. The role will focus primarily on Accounts Payable and Payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Danish financial and tax regulations. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.

What you'll be doing
Accounts Payable
 
Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and appropriate approvals
Maintain vendor records and manage supplier relationships
Prepare and execute payment runs in accordance with company policies
Reconcile supplier accounts and resolve invoice/payment discrepancies
Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to AP
Payroll
 
Prepare and process payroll for Danish employees in compliance with local legislation
Support the HR function with accurate payroll records, including tax, pension, holiday, and leave data
Coordinate with HR to ensure correct and timely updates of employee information
Liaise with external payroll providers and HR systems, such as Zenegy
Register and maintain reimbursement records with Udbetaling Danmark
General Finance Support
 
Assist with reconciliations, accruals, and other accounting tasks as required
Support audits by preparing necessary documentation
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within Finance
Who we're looking for
Relevant educational background in accounting, finance, or related field
Proven experience in accounts payable and payroll in Denmark
Knowledge of Danish tax, labour, and payroll regulations
Experience using ERP systems, ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional proficiency in Danish and English
