Data Privacy Specialist - This role will directly report to the Data Protection Officer (DPO) of the company.

You will be responsible for the practical implementation of our data protection program, ensuring our day-to-day business operations align with the relevant regulations.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
 
 
 
Actively monitor and provide the team with actionable updates on data privacy laws and news across the EU (GDPR), USA & Canada regulations.
Manage the Data Privacy Calendar: ensuring all regulatory reporting deadlines, employee training sessions, and awareness campaigns are executed on time.
Support on specific projects & tasks as assigned by DPO.
Support the DPO in performing privacy audits and monitoring the effectiveness of internal controls to verify organizational data privacy compliance.
Conduct deep-dive research into specific privacy topics as assigned by the DPO and prepare executive summaries or detailed reports to guide decision-making.
Support in the drafting & implementation of internal procedures for Data Privacy policies.
Third-Party Risk: Support in the drafting and review of Data Processing
Agreements (DPAs) and Data Privacy Impact Assessments (DPIAs) of new vendors and tools.
Support in the maintenance of Data Inventory, Incident Reports, and Inventory of DSARs, among others.
Monitoring of specific projects with Data Privacy Content.
 
 
TO DO IT, YOU WILL NEED:
 
 
 
 
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Admin, or related field, or demonstrable experience in the Data Privacy and/or Compliance in the Gaming Industry with exposure to multijurisdictional requirements [min. 3 years].
Knowledge & Understanding of Data Privacy under EU GDPR, UK GDPR, or US Privacy Laws. Certifications in Data Privacy studies highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Strong research capability with the ability to summarize content in a user-friendly manner.
Excellent command of English (written and verbal)
Personal qualities: proactive, curious, open, flexible, self-motivated, self-assured, able to work independently.
Mindset: solving problems and open to learning; hands-on, adaptable, being creative in process creation, real interest in data privacy matters.
