Data Analyst - WHAT YOU’LL DO: Build and maintain Boosta’s unified data layer. Create a central database combining Jira, BambooHR, Finance and other sources. Set up daily automatic data refreshes (API → DB → Power BI). Ensure reliability, performance, and transparency of pipelines.

Data Quality & Data Health.
Normalize and clean incoming data.
Match employees, tasks, transactions across systems.
Detect and report errors/inconsistencies (incorrect fields, broken formulas, missing values).
BI & Dashboards.
Build stable, simple Power BI dashboards for Operations functions.
Prepare clear operational KPIs (TAT, workload, volume dynamics, etc.).
Support & Evolution.
Keep pipelines up-to-date when sources' structures change.
Maintain documentation for tables, fields, mappings, etc.
Expand pipeline to new departments and new data sources.
Act as the internal point of truth for “how the data works”.
 
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Data Engineering / Data Operations.
Ability to extract data from APIs (Jira, BambooHR, QuickBooks, Google Sheets, etc.).
Strong SQL skills.
Experience building daily ETL pipelines (API → DB).
Understanding of data schemas, table structures, indexing, and joins.
Working with semi-structured data (JSON, API responses).
Data Quality & Data Matching.
Cleaning, normalizing, and standardizing data from multiple sources.
Matching entities across systems (email, employee ID, etc.).
Building validation checks, alerts, and monitoring.
Detecting data inconsistencies and mapping errors.
Visualization / BI.
Power BI (DAX, Power Query).
Building stable and simple management dashboards.
Scripting & Automation (would be a plus).
Python for API calls, data cleanup, automation, and QA checks.
Experience with scheduled/automated jobs (cron, cloud functions).
Working with BigQuery or similar cloud storage as a data warehouse.
