Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Research
Conduct research to understand the target audience, industry trends, and competitors.
Gather information on products, services, or topics to create accurate and informative content.
Audience Understanding
Develop a deep understanding of the target audience's needs, preferences, and pain points.
Tailor content to resonate with specific demographics and personas.
Content Creation & Reviewing
Write clear, concise, and compelling copies for various mediums including but not limited to emailers, banners, landing pages, websites - for both mobile and desktop.
Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
Craft engaging headlines, sub-headlines, body copy, CTAs etc. that capture the audience's attention.
Review and edit content for grammar, spelling, punctuation, style, and consistency.
Ensure content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent tone of voice.
SEO Optimization
Implement SEO strategies to optimize web content for search engines, including keyword research and integration.
Write meta descriptions, alt tags, and other SEO elements.
Collaboration
Work closely with designers and other team members to align their copy with overall marketing and branding strategies.
Incorporate feedback from stakeholders into content revisions.
Compliance and Legal Considerations
Ensure that content complies with legal and ethical standards, including copyright and trademark regulations, and compliance requirements.
Avoid plagiarism and respect intellectual property rights.
Ensure all content adheres to geographical regulations, particularly around responsible gaming, advertising standards, and anti-money laundering (AML) guidelines.
Adaptation to Industry and Niche
Tailor your writing style and approach to suit the specific industry or niche you are working in (i.e. online gaming).
Adherence to Deadlines
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines for content delivery.
Prioritize tasks effectively to ensure timely completion.

Experience in conceptualizing and delivering creative campaigns
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Strong collaboration skills and experience working within cross-functional teams (design, marketing, product)
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Solid understanding of UX writing principles and how copy supports user journeys
Comfortable receiving and actioning feedback in a fast-paced environment
Desirable Criteria
Understanding of SEO principles and keyword optimisation
Basic knowledge of HTML and content formatting for web
Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Elementor)
Experience writing for performance marketing channels (e.g., PPC, display, affiliate, email)
Understanding of multi-channel marketing and content strategy
