The Ideal Profile: Is This You?
Here’s what helps people succeed in this role:
 
Experience:
3+ years in sports content, journalism, or digital editing.
 
Strong background in editing and headline writing, especially under deadline pressure.
 
Toolbox:
 
Comfortable working with CMS platforms and editorial planning tools.
 
Core Competency:
 
Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
 
Clear communicator who can work with both internal teams and freelance contributors.
 
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to learn new tools and systems quickly.
 
Nice-to-Haves:
 
Passion for sports betting and familiarity with the North American market.
 
Familiarity with digital publishing metrics and content performance tracking.
 
Experience using SEO tools like Ahrefs, Moz, or SEMrush.

Your success in the first 90 days:
30: Train on our editorial processes, content management systems and more.
60: Develop an understanding of our business, suite of products and how content fits into that puzzle.
90: Work with senior editors/sport leads to support their processes and content, especially during busy seasons like football.
