ASO Specialist job description WHAT YOU’LL DO Perform ASO audits and in-depth competitor analysis in the finance niche. Conduct and analyze A/B tests to improve store listing performance. Optimize app metadata, visuals (icons, screenshots), and descriptions for better visibility and conversion. Monitor key performance metrics (installs, CVR, retention, ratings) and identify growth opportunities. Create detailed reports with insights and actionable recommendations. Generate and test multiple hypotheses to improve app store performance. Work closely within a cross-functional team — actively communicate with developers, marketers, designers, and account managers. Stay updated on platform guidelines and market trends, especially in the finance vertical. Take initiative over ASO strategy execution for Android (and later iOS) apps.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in ASO.
Advanced skills in A/B testing for icons, screenshots, and descriptions.
Strong expertise in ASO for finance-related apps, including payday loans, cash advance, and car insurance niches.
Hands-on experience working with both Google Play and App Store (iOS rollout planned soon).
In-depth knowledge of Google Play guidelines, especially in gray-area regions — ability to avoid policy violations.
Experience working with Apple Search Ads (ASA) and motivated traffic acquisition strategies.
Deep understanding of mobile analytics and the interdependence of key performance metrics (e.g., CVR, retention, LTV).
Strong research and keyword optimization skills for English-speaking markets (USA, Canada).
Ability to run competitive analysis and develop data-driven hypotheses.
Familiarity with app localization and launching apps across multiple GEOs is a plus.
