Senior Backend Software Engineer Your mission At Odds Scanner, we are looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our growing team in Lisbon. Being part of the dynamic tech team, you will be modernizing our platform while managing critical business needs. You will also lead the backend development team, mentor junior developers and drive technical excellence. You'll balance improving our legacy systems with new features using modern tools. In this role, we will give you the opportunity to shape architecture decisions while building a stronger engineering culture through mentorship and best practices. This position requires residency in Portugal or a willingness to relocate.
Responsibilities
Manage Russian Speaking Affiliate Network, maintain existing relationships and create new ones
Attend conferences, events and engage with potential affiliates as per company's needs
Analyze affiliates' performance
Support during the onboarding and setup of their accounts
Work closely with teams across Sales Operations, Finance, Tech, Design, Compliance, and more
Requirements
Proven experience in affiliate marketing or account management
Experience managing partnerships or performance-based marketing channels
An active portfolio of affiliates (particularly Russian-speaking) ready to be onboarded and introduced to new markets
Understanding of the iGaming/sports betting industry and affiliate ecosystems (strong plus)
Professional proficiency in Russian and English
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple accounts and workflows
