Account Manager Job description Are you an esports guru with a flair for direct sales? Are you passionate about esports and do you want to work in a young, energetic sales team? Do you see yourself in a role where you independently build and develop your own customer portfolio and have a close dialogue with customers? If you can nod in recognition of the above, you might be the right person for our sales team! As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for direct sales on our leading esports news sites: Dust2 as well as our flagship HLTV. With over 30 million unique monthly visitors, a large SoMe presence across various channels and a catalogue of products such as podcasts, YouTube shows, display banners and editorial content – you will work closely with internal stakeholders to take this to the next commercial level. The ideal candidate will not only be responsible for the execution of marketing campaigns with involvement in idea development, production and delivery, but also for the sales process. This involves close cooperation with our external partners to understand and support their strategic objectives and KPIs. In addition to the daily work at the office in Odense C, we participate in trade fairs and Counter-Strike events around the world.

Your role
Your primary goal is to increase our revenue from sponsorships and brands. You will do this through:
 
Proactively collaborate with internal teams to develop new content formats – scaling our media portfolio and revenue opportunities
 
Work with the full spectrum of sponsorships – from tailored solutions to sponsored editorial and video content
 
Work closely with external partners to understand their marketing goals and design creative concepts that meet their needs
 
Building and maintaining new partners and revenue opportunities
 
Developing strategic relationships with media agencies and direct brands
 
Ensure delivery of booked campaigns and reporting of results to partners
 
Monthly reporting of booked revenue and pipeline status

Job requirements
Our ideal candidate
Have good experience with commercialization of publisher sites
 
Esports and content enthusiast with knowledge of the esports fanbase. iGaming experience is not a requirement, but an advantage
 
Good language skills in both English and Danish
 
Experience in selling social media, video, audio and editorial content
 
An existing network of relevant contacts/prospects
 
Confident, passionate and persuasive communication skills
 
Excellent presentation and writing skills in relation to offers
 
Experience in preparing and implementing media plans
 
Good analytical skills and understanding of numbers
 
Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by growth
 
Independent team player with a “can-do” attitude
