OpticOdds teams up with Linemate as NFL season kicks off

Sportsbook data solutions provider OpticOdds has announced a strategic partnership with consumer-first betting research platform Linemate as the 2025 NFL season begins on 4 September.

Founded in 2023 in Montreal by Calvin Konya, Matthew Konya, Johnson Ta and Dimitre Bogdanov, Linemate is a consumer-first sports betting discovery platform focused on pre-game research, historical insights and intuitive UX. Aiming to simplify and modernise the sports betting experience, it has already attracted more than 140,000 monthly users across 15 global leagues, from major competitions in North America and Europe such as the NFL and EPL to regional leagues including AFL and NRL in Australia.

The partnership will see OpticOdds provide Linemate with real-time sportsbook data and market feeds, enabling product expansion in time for the 2025 NFL season.

Ryan Weinstock, chief commercial officer at OpticOdds, said his team is “thrilled to be supporting Linemate’s next phase of growth” and praised the “incredibly unique” and “research-driven” engagement the platform has built for everyday fans.

“By integrating OpticOdds’ feeds, Linemate is now positioned to become a true end-to-end engine for betting discovery, personalisation and action,” Weinstock said.

Through this integration, Linemate will gain full access to OpticOdds’ suite of odds feeds and market data. This will allow its users to research, build and place bets seamlessly, while accessing the most competitive odds and offers available, all within a single, frictionless experience.

Calvin Konya, Linemate CEO, described the collaboration as “a huge step forward for the product and the community” the team has built over the years.

“Our users want to move from discovering insights to taking action, all in one place. With OpticOdds powering our data and market access, we're finally unlocking that seamless experience,” he said.

The partnership forms part of a wider initiative involving OpticOdds’s parent company Gambling.com Group, which will provide licensing support and commercial infrastructure to strengthen Linemate’s monetisation model. The enhanced Linemate experience, featuring betslip integrations, odds personalisation, expanded data insights and sportsbook selection tools, will begin rolling out in September 2025.

Recently, Gambling.com Group reported 30% year-on-year revenue growth in Q2 and announced plans to acquire booking platform Spotlight.Vegas. Its VP commercial Owen Watters was featured in an iGBA interview on the group’s journey leading to its double win at the iGB Affiliate Awards 2025.
