Best Affiliate Network has long been one of the most contested categories at the iGBA awards. In such a competitive space, what makes a brand stand out, and what exactly are operator and affiliate partners looking for in a network? We speak to Phyllyp Sedicias, CSO of this year’s winner Click Hunters Tech, about the Brazilian startup’s growth story built on genuine partnerships, tech and global expansion.
For Phyllyp Sedicias, partnership has always been the thread running through his career. Starting out as a businessman in the footwear and restaurant sectors, Sedicias entered the poker world as a professional player around the same time. Travelling frequently to tournaments and networking with iGaming insiders, he gradually realised this sector isn’t just a hobby, but “a fascinating intersection of entertainment, data and massive commercial potential”. Soon, he went all in.
Now years later, Sedicias has worked for and co-founded more than 20 iGaming operations in Brazil. His proudest, though, is Click Hunters Tech, winner of this year’s iGBA Best Affiliate Network award, which he launched with friends in 2024. The idea stemmed from a clear gap he saw in the market.
“From a sales perspective, I saw operators struggling to find reliable, scalable and compliant sources of high-value traffic. The creation of Click Hunters Tech was the direct answer to that commercial need,” Sedicias said.

“Radical partnerships”
Sedicias says the founding team is a unique mix, with one partner a successful affiliate and the rest from tech and business strategy. He leads what he calls “radical partnerships” as part of the commercial vision – to build “a world class sales organisation and create true, value-based partnerships with operators and affiliates, moving away from the purely transactional model that was so common in the market”.
“We don’t have salespeople; We have strategic partner managers. Their goal is not just to close a deal, but to understand an operator’s profit and loss statement, their specific challenges and their growth targets,” Sedacias explains. “For our elite affiliates, it’s the same. We provide them with dedicated support and data insights to help them grow their businesses.”
We don’t have salespeople; We have strategic partner managers
Despite early hurdles convincing operators to back “an exclusive, tech-driven ecosystem” rather than conventional open networks, Click Hunters Tech has hit key commercial milestones and now partners with tier-1 operators such as Stake, Bet365 and Grupo Esportes da Sorte.
Behind the fast growth is the team’s work to make AI part of the business infrastructure. The network has built a suite of proprietary apps and sites to improve conversion. For clients, Sedicias says AI “acts as the ultimate matchmaker”, scanning the affiliate ecosystem to identify partners tailored to a brand’s needs. It also optimises campaigns in real time, ensuring personalised offers. For the team, he believes the upcoming AI-powered Affiliate Scoring System will boost sales confidence by adding a new level of transparency.
For years, the (Brazilian) market was a bit of a ‘Wild West’, and many operators focused on volume over value.
Farewell to the “Wild West”
While many fear Brazil’s iGaming regulation could slow growth, Sedicias welcomes the changes and says the new rules have been “a massive accelerator” for Click Hunters Tech.
“For years, the market was a bit of a ‘Wild West’, and many operators focused on volume over value. Now, with clear rules and tax structures, the conversation has changed,” he says. “Operators are no longer asking ‘Can you bring me traffic?’. They are asking ‘Can you bring me compliant, high quality traffic from a trustworthy partner?’.”
Sedicias describes the regulated Brazilian market as 60% of the brand’s focus, with the remaining 40% on global expansion, particularly in Europe and Africa. In the former, he sees a mature market where efficiency and ROI are paramount. For the latter, he is excited about its “explosive growth potential”, driven by the “sheer size of the young, mobile-first population” and its passion for sports. Acknowledging commercial challenges in navigating fragmented payments and regulation, the team is building regional partnerships and localised platforms to gain a foothold in the early chapters of the continent’s growth story.
A full-blown, on-chain crypto casino ecosystem will gain mass adoption only after the regulatory path is clear
One area Sedicias is cautious about is crypto gambling. While the vertical could open up new revenue streams from high value and tech savvy players, the lack of regulatory clarity remains a hurdle. For now, he notes that most operators that are publicly listed or backed by institutional investors are hesitant to invest in a vertical in a grey area.
“My prediction is that we will see a hybrid model emerging first, where traditional platforms accept crypto as a payment option. A full-blown, on-chain crypto casino ecosystem will gain mass adoption only after the regulatory path is clear,” Sedicias explains.
Carrying on the momentum
The team’s efforts over the last year and a half culminated at the iGBA Awards night this July, when it claimed the trophy on stage at London’s Troxy. “For a CSO, winning 'Best Affiliate Network' is the most powerful sales tool imaginable. It’s a globally recognised stamp of approval that tells every potential partner that we deliver on our promises. It has transformed conversations and opened doors at the highest levels,” Sedicias says.

As a start-up, the award is a promising beginning, but there is much more to explore. Building on the momentum, Sedicias is looking to Q1 2026, when the Affiliate Scoring System will be fully rolled out. The brand will also launch a suite of new products for streamers and content creators, a vertical he believes “is still in its infancy in terms of monetisation technology”.
Beyond that, he hints at something bigger in the lab: “It's a project that touches on personalisation and AI, and we believe it will solve one of the oldest problems related to player retention.” On the partnership front, he is expecting a major partnership that could be “a market-defining move for payments in Latin America”. With a clear ambition and a growth strategy centred on technology and partnerships, Sedicias is confident about leading the brand’s commercial efforts and returning to the awards stage next year.
