SoMuchPoker acquires iBetMedia to strengthen global presence
The Asia-Pacific iGaming media network has acquired iBetMedia, the parent company behind casino and betting affiliate sites including mypokercoaching.com, for an undisclosed sum.
Founded in 2015 by Lithuanian professional player Tadas Peckaitis, iBetMedia began as a passion project to help poker players improve their skills by offering resources in strategy, tools and coaching programme reviews, before expanding into casino and sports betting content.
SoMuchPoker was launched in 2014 to provide news, strategy and event coverage for the Asian poker community. The acquisition marks the company’s expansion into the global iGaming landscape and recognises iBetMedia’s decade-long growth.
Explaining the deal, Peckaitis said it “felt like the right moment to let iBetMedia’s brands join a larger ecosystem with the scale and resources to grow internationally”, adding that the transition “opens space” for him personally “to explore new projects and continue innovating in gaming and digital media”.
Following the acquisition, Peckaitis will remain involved to ensure a smooth handover of operations. Beyond that, he plans to pursue new initiatives, continuing to create trustworthy, value-driven experiences for players.
“What started as a side project became a scalable network of trusted gaming sites,” said Peckaitis. “Our mission has always been to bring clarity and trust to an industry that often lacks it. I’m genuinely excited to see that SoMuchPoker shares the same values and vision for the future.”
