The Responsible Gambling Affiliate Association has announced that it has opened memberships for affiliates beyond its founding members.

This marks the first time the organisation established by Better Collective, Catena Media, FairPlay Sports Group, Gambling.com Group, Spotlight Sports Group and XLMedia in November 2023 have allowed new additions in.

According to the organisation, new members will benefit from “united representation within the industry” as well as gaining access to business resources.

Members will get access to industry peers for networking purposes, resources on US state regulation, gaming policies and public affairs as well as news on key issues.

By joining the RGAA, members will be able to inform the organisation’s dialogue with regulators, legislators and other policymakers in addition to participating in members-only committees and forums. There will also be board seat representation by the RGAA for members to voice concerns and desires.

As part of the membership, affiliates will pass a yearly audit and receive a standards certification from the organisation to demonstrate compliance and commitment to the group’s mission on competitive markets, education, consumer protection, advertising and responsible business practices.

Back in February, RGAA appointed former New Jersey regulator George Rover as its executive director.
