Catena Media proposes Erik Flinck as board chairman

Catena Media has proposed to elect Erik Flinck as chairman of its board of directors along with other personnel changes.

Along with Flinck, Dan Castillo will also be put forward as a new member of the board. While, Øystein Engebretsen, Theodore Bergquist, Adam Krejcik and Sean Hurley have been proposed for re-election.

Flinck currently serves as chairman for digital health startup, Dr HUD, and previously operated as head of BCG Sweden. He also holds over twenty years of experience in management consulting and served as head of group strategy and M&A at Sandvik AB.

Castillo has been a Catena investor since 2015 and has previous board work in Kotipizza, which Orkla acquired in 2018. He currently serves on the boards of five companies in different sectors, including Quartr.com in fintech and Hope Studios in movie production.

Recently, the affiliate confirmed that Manuel Stan would be its new CEO effective from 1 July 2024. Stan replaces Michael Daly who resigned in March with immediate effect and Pierre Cadena who stepped into the role of interim CEO.
