BetGames to expand GB offering with new licences

By Robert Fletcher

Live dealer and betting games studio BetGames will roll out new products and services in the British market after securing a number of new licences.

Issued by the Great Britain Gambling Commission, the licences will enable BetGames to offer facilities for betting on real events and virtual events. This will be in addition to BetGames’ existing Gambling Software and Casino Host licences in Britain.

Initial launches will be announced shortly, with the first new product to go live being Twain Sport, which delivers short-form, basketball and football action to players.

Available in both football and basketball formats, professional athletes compete in one-on-one challenges, with non-stop 60-second matches available every two minutes daily. This amounts to 1,440 matches per day and 43,200 each month.

“Our latest UK approvals are going to be an absolute game-changer for us,” BetGames’ chief executive Andreas Koeberl said. “Live since October 2022, Twain Sport has already proven a resounding success having been deployed with 45 operators globally in just six months, as well as 20 more contracts currently under negotiation.

”Our mission at BetGames has always been to offer unique products for the iGaming industry. With Twain Sport, we have something truly special for the UK market – the first-of-its-kind high-turnover sporting action that will be the perfect cross-sell for sports betting and casino fans.”
