Rightlander, the monitoring and compliance business, has announced the launch of a new product for traffic source data tracking.
The Trackback product will allow an operator to place a code on its websites that enables tracking of incoming traffic. It will therefore enable operators to track whether traffic is coming from affiliates or other sources and the geographical location of its visitors.
There is also a feature for capturing affiliate IDs to track where and how affiliates are promoting an operator and it is cited by Rightlander as a tool to support compliance efforts.
The product can be integrated into tracking platforms as well as brands working across various sectors and its data already works with Rightlander’s Intel Workbench.
Ian Sims, Rightlander founder, said that the company developed Trackback “to give brands and operators a powerful tool to quickly understand where [its] traffic is coming from and ensure that [its] marketing practices are compliant and effective.
“By layering detailed insights into traffic sources and affiliate activity, Trackback empowers companies to make informed decisions that protect brand integrity while optimising marketing efforts".
