Listed giant GiG Media has put an unnamed German-facing site forward for review under the new Quality Mark Responsible Affiliates (QMRA) scheme.

The founders of the scheme, XY Legal Solutions, said that this underlined GiG Media’s commitment to running its websites in a responsible and compliant manner, making this “a logical step to take”.

XY Legal Solutions announced last week that it was rolling out the QMRA service in six more regulated markets on the back of the impressive traction gained by its KVA quality stamp in the Netherlands.

The Utrecht-based legal firm said: “Compliance demands for igaming are growing for all regulated markets. For affiliates, it is becoming more and more important to show they are able to keep up with compliance standards. A quality mark helps affiliates demonstrate to operators that they are trustworthy”.

It added that going through the QMRA vetting procedures would also help affiliates to better understand relevant legislation and how it applies to their business.

If approved, GiG’s German site will join Game Lounge-owned CasinoHawks.com and Coherentes’ BetterWorldCasinos in gaining the QMRA badge.

Eighty one affiliates and 10 operators have so far signed up to the code in the Netherlands to receive and display the KVA quality mark.
