Sacha Kinser has joined London-headquartered affiliate business Finixio as its new head of gambling content.

Kinser’s recruitment has boosted Finxio's gambling editorial team to 25 as it further invests into what its head of North America Neil Roarty described today as “one of the growth engines of the affiliate market”.

Kinser, who worked her way up the ranks at Game Lounge to become head of content after joining in 2018 as a content manager, said she was “thrilled” to be joining Finixio.

“My role here extends beyond a job title, it’s an opportunity for me to leverage my leadership skills to actively nurture and develop a strong, cohesive team”.

Roarty, under whom Finixio has expanded from just one UK-facing portal - safestbettingsites.com - in 2021 to an international network of more than 20 including brands such as www.sportslens.com and www.thesportsdaily.com, added: “We are investing strongly in our gambling content team now to make sure we are well placed to benefit from the additional opportunities we expect to open up over the coming years”.

Roarty also revealed Finixio was also transitioning away from a reliance on contract and freelance writers towards a permanent team of experienced journalists drawn from publications including The Daily Mail, The Daily Express and The Telegraph. They now work alongside its team of gambling industry experts.

“We want to set our business up for stable future growth and we believe providing good jobs and clear career progression is a key part of this,” he said.

Finixio has also started running an apprenticeship scheme in partnership with The Juice Academy which combines on-the-job learning with a digital marketing qualification. Its first graduate, Max Barlow, is now a full-time permanent member of the company’s PR team.
