Checkd Group appoints new SEO head

Checkd Group has revealed that it has hired George Webb as its new head of SEO.

Webb will be tasked with helping the affiliate’s media and international divisions “ramp up organic traffic” as well as optimising onsite revenue. He will also be responsible for enhancing the range of performance marketing services offered by the company.

Prior to his latest appointment, Webb was head of SEO at marketing agency Engage Interactive. He also held previous PR and SEO roles at Blueclaw and Unrvld.


Alex Beecham, Checkd Media managing director said that the company is delighted to welcome Webb in his new role.

“George’s appointment is pivotal as we expand our technical SEO skills and further our performance marketing efforts across multiple territories,” said Beecham.

“We are confident that his strategic insights will significantly increase our traffic and better position us to facilitate continued success.”

Webb acknowledged his excitement to be joining the affiliate as “it scales up its organic search operation.”

Back in August, Checkd Group revealed that it had a record financial year, with revenues growing by 38%.
