As Product App Designer (Mobile Apps)
job description
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Design UX/UI for mobile apps from scratch — including information architecture, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups.
Build and maintain design systems and reusable components in Figma — using Auto Layout, platform-specific adaptations (iOS/Android), and organized libraries.
Review and improve existing app UX/UI — identify pain points, enhance usability, clarity, and visual simplicity.
Conduct design reviews within the team — provide constructive feedback, identify weak solutions, and help raise overall design quality.
Collaborate closely with product managers and developers — discuss features, priorities, UX trade-offs, and hand off designs for implementation.
Create interactive prototypes in Figma — for internal testing or development reference
Participate in product ideation and brainstorming — contribute ideas and suggest simple, effective feature solutions.
Test implemented UI in the app — ensure visual and UX accuracy against design specs.
Analyze user experience — leverage analytics, user feedback, and competitor insights to continuously improve the product design.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU:
Strong understanding of UX principles: user flows, scenarios, information architecture, and converting elements.
Experience designing interfaces for both iOS and Android, following platform guidelines (Material Design / Human Interface Guidelines).
Ability to create clean, intuitive, and lightweight UIs — especially for utility apps.
Confident use of Auto Layouts, components, and design systems in Figma.
Proficiency with Variants, styles, and design tokens.
Prototyping and preparing designs for handoff to development.
Ability to assess and critique UX created by others (logic, usability, visual clarity).
Improving existing designs without redrawing everything from scratch.
Understanding of product goals, user needs, and business metrics.
Ability to adapt designs for MVPs or technical constraints.
Prioritizing what’s essential for launch vs. what can be improved later.
Competitor and reference analysis.
Testing and validating own prototypes.
Clearly articulating design decisions.
Providing constructive, actionable feedback.
English level: Intermediate or higher.
