About the Role
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our growing finance team at our Douglas office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. In this varied role, you’ll be involved in data collection, entry, and reconciliation, while working closely with the team to ensure the smooth running of our day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and update our QuickBooks accounting system
Process supplier bills, receipts, and payments
Raise and issue sales invoices
Accurately post and classify financial data
Assist with administrative tasks, including application forms and due diligence documentation
Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and accurate reporting
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in a similar role in an office-based setting
Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools
Experience using QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) is an advantage
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude
Ability to work well independently and as part of a small, hands-on team
