Better Collective is a leading digital sports media group on a mission to excite sports fans and foster passionate communities worldwide. We are made up of a unique group of talent from across the world, and now we are looking for a new team player to lead our ambitious internal communications efforts!

As our new Internal Communications Lead, you will play an important role in creating a cohesive internal communication strategy that aligns with Better Collective’s business strategy, vision, and key priorities, while also being the executing force behind crafting internal comms that inform, engage and excite our colleagues. 

To succeed in this role, it requires an ability to connect with multiple stakeholders across the organisation globally, a structured mindset, and the skills to act as a trusted advisor for senior leadership on internal communication matters. 

You will be based in our HQ in Copenhagen, and report into our Head of Communications. In this role, you will have multiple touchpoints throughout the organization and collaborate closely with a broad variety of functions, including Investor Relations, Sustainability, Strategy, People & Culture, Broadcast, as well as Executive Management and senior leaders from across functions and regions.

Key responsibilities in this role
 
Drive internal awareness and anchoring of vision, strategy, and key projects:
 
Develop and execute formats to enhance the understanding and buy-in of Better Collective's vision and strategy across the organization.
 
Translate strategy and business goals and priorities into clear, engaging, and easily digestible content for employees at all levels.
 
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify key projects and priorities that require internal communication focus.
 
Create and implement communication plans that ensure consistent messaging and alignment of goals across departments.
 
Build global internal comms plan:
 
Develop and maintain a comprehensive global internal communications plan that supports Better Collective's overall business objectives.
 
Ensure the plan is flexible and dynamic, allowing for adaptation to changes and emerging needs.
 
Strategize and manage internal comms channels:
 
Ensure a seamless flow of information throughout the organization with an efficient channel mix.
 
Develop new formats for internal knowledge-sharing
 
Continuously evaluate and optimize channel performance, exploring new tools and technologies as needed.
 
Guide and support senior leaders in communicating messages effectively:
 
Advise and support senior leaders in developing and delivering impactful communications to the Group as well as to their teams.
 
Provide guidance and training on effective communication practices and tools.
 
Editor in Chief of internal comms platforms:
 
Serve as the Editor in Chief for our Group internal communications platforms, including our intranet, ensuring our platforms deliver relevant, engaging, and timely content to all employees.
 
Create and maintain an editorial plan that motivates colleagues and highlights company achievements
 
Support with internal issues management:
 
Assist in managing issues from an internal communications perspective
 
Job requirements
Proven track-record (+5 years) of driving internal communications, corporate communication, or a related field - an advantage if within a global, listed company.
 
Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal
 
Strong strategic thinking with the ability to see the big picture and translate it into actionable plans.
 
Loves structure and to execute on projects
 
Ability to develop internal platforms and formats that effectively communicate business priorities and engage employees globally
 
You are a people-person and curious by nature
 
Ability to collaborate and influence at all levels of the organization
 
Experience with a variety of internal communication platforms and tools
 
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
