Job description
The Sports Content Writer is responsible for producing high-quality, engaging, and accurate sports content in English. This role involves writing articles and developing other content forms to keep audiences informed and entertained about sports news, events, and trends.
Responsibilities
-Write articles and news updates focused on a wide range of American sports, including major leagues like NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, College Football/Basketball, and WNBA, as well as other sports such as Boxing, Tennis, Golf, and Soccer
-Conduct thorough research on sports topics, including player statistics, game results, and industry trends, ensuring that all content is timely and relevant
-Ensure that all content aligns with the brand’s voice, style, and objectives without sacrificing intrigue or integrity
-Utilize social media platforms, particularly X (formerly Twitter), to enhance content reach and audience engagement

Job requirements
This is the ideal position for individuals with a passion for American sports and an understanding of sports audience interests and behaviors, the ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously, and strong communication and teamwork skills. - Experience: Proven experience as a sports writer or content creator, with a strong portfolio of published work
- Knowledge of American sports, including NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, College Football/Basketball, and WNBA. Familiarity with Boxing, Tennis, Golf, and Soccer is a plus
- Excellent English communication skills (Native/Advanced English level)
