As Communications Specialist

Better Collective is a leading digital sports media group on a mission to excite sports fans and foster passionate communities worldwide. We are made up of a unique group of talent from across the world, and now we are looking for a Communications specialist to support driving and developing our internal and external communications!
As our new Communications specialist, you will play an important role within the communications department to support crafting compelling narratives and sharing the positive stories from across our business units - both internally and externally.
To succeed in this role, it requires an ability to connect with multiple stakeholders across the organisation globally. You will be based in our HQ in Copenhagen, and report into our Head of Communications and collaborate closely with a broad variety of functions and teams. You will join a global team that values close collaboration and is highly supportive of each other.
Key responsibilities in this role
Support business units on internal and external communications matters
Create engaging content, including press releases, blog posts, and social media content
Create a corporate SoMe strategy – and execute strongly on it together with the comms team to build our position
Collaborate with various departments to ensure consistent messaging across all platforms
Drive, coordinate and support the execution of internal communications formats
Generally support the communications team on various day-to-day tasks while bringing innovative ideas and formats to the table
Job requirements
Bachelor/Masters in Communications (internal communications, corporate communication, PR or a related field) - either you have experience from a student employee position or are in a communications function full-time following your graduation
Excellent proficiency in English, both written and verbal
Strong business understanding
Ability to develop internal platforms and formats that effectively communicate business priorities and engage employees globally
People-person and curious by nature
Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset
Eager to learn and jump on challenges as they arise
