WHAT YOU’LL DO
Design and implement robust integrations with third-party APIs.
Handle edge cases with care — retries, timeouts, rate limits, malformed data.
Collaborate with product and partners to define clear requirements and timelines.
Build internal tools and dashboards to monitor and debug integrations.
Write clean, well-documented code that’s easy for others to extend.
Contribute to backend architecture, reviews, and shared service design.
Jump into core backend services when needed — you're part of a cross-functional team.
Work closely with the infra team to scale systems reliably.
WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
Strong experience building backend systems in Java (Spring Boot preferred).
Comfortable building robust retry logic, fallback mechanisms, and data transformers.
Familiar with async patterns and stateless service design — you know how to handle parallel calls without overcomplicating things.
Experience integrating with third-party APIs — REST, gRPC, OAuth, webhooks, you name it.
Familiar with auth flows, rate limits, and pagination quirks — and how to abstract them away.
