Just Media acquires PPC specialist Kurama Media

Just Media has acquired PPC affiliate Kurama Media for an undisclosed sum.

Just Media MD Magnus Boberg said: “This addition to our brand will strengthen our ability to deliver valuable players to our igaming partners from a new source of traffic, paid media”.

Access to Kurama's Google PPC traffic will deliver faster results for operators via its principal justgamblers.com brand, added Boberg.

“This is a strategic acquisition that will make us slightly less dependent on organic traffic. It also means that we will be able to deliver players from a wider range of markets to our partners.” The deal, agreed just a few weeks after talks with Kurama co-founders Daniel Zammit Martins and Sean Gatt began at the tail end of Q3, followed a collaboration between the companies focused on the LatAm region.

“We have been working closely with Kurama Media for almost a year, and we are very impressed by the PPC knowledge and processes that they have developed during this time. So, we were more than happy to place an offer when we heard they were looking to sell,” said Boberg.

Outgoing Kurama MD Zammit Martins said: “By uniting Kurama Media's meticulous methodologies and data-driven campaigns with Just Media's formidable content and design capabilities, operators in the igaming space can continue to expect unparalleled results in the ever competitive PPC landscape.”
