Betonaces: Out with the old, in with the new

Following a stellar two years of innovation and growth, Betonaces is ready for relaunch. In an internal Q&A conducted by the company, Sezin Ozel explains the thinking behind its brand-new website

Launched in 2017, Betonaces.com focuses on the UK, continental Europe and also has an expanding presence in Latin America and Canada. The brand features an online casino with a variety of video slots, casino games and scratch cards as well as live-dealer versions of roulette and baccarat among other table games. Betonaces earned multiple nominations and an award at the prestigious Malta Gaming Awards at SIGMA 2018, IGB Affiliate Awards 2019 and EGR Innovation and Marketing Awards 2019, and has become a popular destination for players and affiliates with its unique offers and advances. Now, after two years of successful white label operation, Betonaces is relaunching its website with Finnplay under Viral interactive.

WHY HAVE YOU DECIDED TO RELAUNCH THE WEBSITE AND WHAT WILL BE NEW AT BETONACES?

We have come a long way; we initially started with another white label partner under the Curacao licence. However, the online gambling industry is experiencing an extremely dynamic regulatory environment. It is not always smooth sailing and it is challenging to form structures for multi-jurisdictional operations. After two years of operation, our growth required more independence and we needed a partner with whom we could grow and improve our product offerings mutually. After a careful search for the ideal partner, we decided to move on with Finnplay. We currently have UK and MGA licences under Viral Interactive, and we are planning to add Sweden and Denmark gambling licences by the end of 2019. Our new grants will give us excellent coverage of the European regulated markets. There will also be many new features at Betonaces, both for players and affiliates. Together with Finnplay, we have built unique bonus features from voucher codes and cash backs, to daily free spin offers and bonus gamification. Our compliance and fraud checks are automated for faster player experience. We support multiple payment methods from the likes of Trustly, Skrill, Neteller, Lateral, Bambora, Wirecard, Payvision, Epro, Payesafe card, EnterCash, Zimpler, Ecopayz, Muchbetter, Inpay Visa, MasterCard and many more. Additionally, we have more than 1,500 games on the platform, and we are adding new content each day. We are aiming to provide the fastest online casino with no payment restrictions to our players, which will also benefit our affiliates along the way. Currently, we are working on facial recognition for faster payments and logins. We also have many other innovative solutions for the industry, but you will need to wait for the relaunch to see them, let’s leave them as a surprise.

WHICH FACTORS HAVE PLAYED THE BIGGEST PART IN YOUR SUCCESS OVER THE PAST YEAR?

As with all business relationships, trust is the key in the gaming industry. We have built honest and transparent relationships with all our partners, including our affiliates. We are a small team of experienced gaming professionals; everyone brought their years of expertise to the table. The advantage of being small is we can act very quickly; we are dynamic, responsive and proactive. Affiliates don’t need to wait days for a banner to be approved, they can receive their payments the same day, we can update a campaign within minutes. As they say, big ships move slowly; we are the opposite. We also have a precise overall aim: we are continually working on the implementation of new approaches and strategies required by the market changes. Betonaces prides itself on hard work, commitment and dedication to its players and affiliates. We work hard to provide the best casino experience possible – and being recognised by the industry has reassured us that our hard work has paid off. The combination of the overall company culture and dedication are behind our ongoing success as an operator.

HOW WILL YOU LOOK TO BUILD ON THIS SUCCESS IN 2020 AND WHAT WILL BE NEW FOR AFFILIATES?

We have been working diligently for months on this project, and we see great opportunities for the relaunch coming with our strong brand awareness. Our new partner Finnplay offers a first-class platform, both when it comes to the technical solution and the team behind it, as well as a safe and entertaining experience for our players. Relaunching our casino affiliate programme with MyAffiliates also provided an opportunity to make essential updates to Betonaces. We have every confidence that we will see great results with the new and improved affiliate programme. Our affiliates will also leverage MyAffiliates’ marketing platform, which provides excellent reporting and tracking features to help optimise promotional efforts and retention campaigns. Our affiliates will be able to access the server-to-server tracking, pixel tracking, and campaign targeting functionality and in-depth reporting, as well as interactive marketing materials such as widgets. Our revamped affiliate programme will launch with a revenue share commission structure, though CPA and hybrid deals are available on request. Affiliates are an essential element in our acquisition strategy, and we will ensure that they are well placed to maximise their revenue and overall business growth. The gaming business is very competitive, but there is always room for new innovative operators and affiliates on the market share, and there is still much money to be made.
