Andrew is a Partner and Head of the Gambling Group at Bird & Bird, an international law firm. He is based in London, and works closely with colleagues across the firm’s international offices to provide local and international gambling law advice. He focuses his own practice on gambling regulatory, licensing and commercial matters, including a wide range of white label, marketing, hedging, sponsorship, media rights, software development and supply, hosting, outsourcing, and consumer contracts. He is a member of the International Masters of Gaming Law, and has been invited by the European Commission and the Asser Institute to participate in expert workshops on the advertising of gambling and the commercial relationship between the sports and gambling industries. He is a regular contributor to gambling industry publications, and has organised and spoken at a number of industry events. Clients he advises on gambling law include major listed and unlisted operators, software suppliers, betting syndicates, affiliates, broadcasters, advertisers and sports rights holders.
