announces mandatory loss limits

Online casino operator has introduced mandatory loss limits for its UK customer base.

Licenced by the UK Gambling Commission and supported by an affiliate program, said the loss limits would help protect players from gambling-related harm.

Players must now set a monthly loss limits before placing their first bet. Limits cannot be changed for at least seven days after they are set.

Should a player request to adjust their limit, they will be contacted by a member of the responsible gambling team during the seven-day interim period. chief executive Alexander Stevendahl said: “Playing on should be a safe and enjoyable form of entertainment and that’s why we’ve made loss limits mandatory.

“Prompted by the pandemic while understanding it’s the right thing to do as the industry moves forward regardless, this addition is another way to further protect our players, especially during these tough times. We expect other operators to follow suit.”
