Speaker interview: Elaine Gardiner, Global Gaming
Published 27th September 2018
This week we speak to Elaine Gardiner, Head of Affiliates at Global Gaming to talk about her upcoming panel session at LiAC on the 19th October at 12:00.
Relationships aren't about reinventing the wheel, there is no secret formula. Being polite, helpful and responsive as an affiliate manager will get you a lot further than 90% Revenue share.
The panel titled "Partner selection and structuring: creating long-term win-win relationships for all parties" will look at how to create win-win relationships for all and what criteria you should prioritise when developing an affiliate partnership. The panel includes:
- Andrew Housego, Operations Manager, Bingoport.co.uk
- Erez Margalit, CEO, Light House Media
- Itamar Ronen, Chief Revenue Officer, CELLXPERT
- Varun Mathure,Head of Marketing, Catena Media
How is your topic relevant to the gaming industry?
EG: Relationships are an important part of any partnership, and even more so in an affiliate>operator relationship. If your affiliate manager or account manager is bad at managing relationships, they are the wrong person for the job and could harm your growth.
What is the one thing you hope delegates get out of your session?
EG: I'm hoping that new affiliate managers and affiliates take away from our session is that a good relationship is the foundation to any successful partnership, and that relationships work both ways. There isn't any secret, just be helpful, polite and respond in a timely manner.
How do you plan on maximising your time at the event?
EG: Global Gaming Affiliates will be exhibiting at the Lisbon Affiliate conference in order to speak with our existing partners to discuss how we can further strengthen our relationship, as well as meet new potential affiliates and showcase our brands. We're also planning a nice event for our partners while
we're there so we can get some one on one time with them away from the stresses of the conference floor.
