The Role
As a Finance Executive within the Receivables team, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining a business partnership relationship both with external customers and stakeholders as well as with different Gentoo Media departments, within the finance function of a listed company. You will handle all core accounting responsibilities for accounts receivables across the Gentoo Media function, assisting in creating transparency for the performance of the company and be part of a team very much focusing on delivering on our KPI’s while maintaining a great team spirit.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned customers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
 
Prepare and send monthly sales invoices and statements to customers accurately and on time.
 
Follow up on overdue invoices and ensure timely collections.
 
Provide regular updates and relevant information regarding assigned customers.
 
Respond promptly to customer queries and resolve issues efficiently.
 
Perform customer account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of records.
 
Conduct monthly cashouts from affiliate wallets.
 
Monitor debtor balances, including clearing credit balances, and report any discrepancies.
 
Maintain an up-to-date list of active accounts in the revenue report.
 
Report slow-paying or non-paying customers to Account Managers and, if necessary, the Legal department.
 
Assist in monthly reconciliations and support audit-related queries.
 
Post sales invoices and ensure accurate posting of bank transactions against the correct customers.
 
Allocate payments received accurately against outstanding invoices.
 
Update weekly receivables reports to provide management with current account status.
 
Requirements
A minimum of one year experience in a similar role
Previous experience in credit control is crucial
Previous experience in iGaming Industry is preferred
An ability to work to meet with agreed deadlines
Ability to take ownership of tasks on an individual and team basis, as applicable
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to establish effective relationships, both in the immediate team and wider business
Competence in Excel, general IT and accounting packages
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
